About this site

Adventurous Dad & Daughters is a blog about a family enjoying tabletop gaming together. Written by a father and his two daughters, it explores both the games themselves, and ways for a family to use gaming to stay connected – and away from their screens.
Dad
Dad used to be a big tabletop gamer, and at one point write RPGs professionally. But life, love and work got in the way, and he drifted away from gaming for 20 years. However, his daughters’ growing interest in games has drawn him back in, and he finds himself painting miniatures for the first time since his teens. Only… he needs reading glasses to see the darn things clearly now.
Eldest
The eldest is in her teens, and enjoying playing D&D with her friends. She’s less persuaded by the joys of miniature building and painting than the rest of her family, but her centaur is always ready to gallop into roleplaying action.
Youngest
The younger daughter has expanded her interest in D&D into Warhammer, thanks to her friends at school. She’s a talented painter, and can be found hanging around the local Warhammer store once a month, assembling the free mini of the month, organising dice, and quizzing the staff about lore.
